:: L I G H T B O X goes to Prague ::   JUNE 12-29 2003

Thematics was invited to attend the Scenographer and Theater Architecture's Quadrennial Exhibition in Prague, June 2003, a worldwide symposium of set, lighting, costume and sound theater designers (as well as architects who build theaters) where 48 countries mount pavilions showing work from a range of artists.

LIGHTBOX has been asked to take part in the SCENOFEST STAGE, a design development workshop addressing the communication styles found in the teaching of lighting and sound design, sponsored by OISTAT, designed by Michael Ramsaur. Feel free to send him an email to hear a first hand account of our successful participation.

During the exihibit our LIGHTBOX road box will sit centered amongst all of the individual countries' exihibit pavilions and participate in lighting model projects during the LEAR sessions for students where groups of students from different countries will be collaborating on a mock King Lear design process and using LIGHTBOX to communicate thier ideas. see model photos from JAPAN HOLLAND SKOREA LONDON
